Since 1947, the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am has brought top professional and celebrity golfers to Pebble Beach Golf Links each February. Del Monte Golf Course is the oldest continuously operational course west of the Mississippi, opening with nine Charles E. Maud-designed holes in 1897 and being expanded to 18 holes in 1902.
The private members’ clubs of Cypress Point Club and Monterey Peninsula County Club each offer dramatic 18-hole courses, with Cypress Point’s course being ranked second-best in the world by Golf Digest in 2011.
